4th Amendment to the US Constitution

I am studying the 4th Amendment of the US Constitution this morning and am wondering if the seizure of a child from a biological family would be considered an unreasonable seizure, especially when there were family members willing and ready to care for the child. I am also wondering about false imprisonment of children. I wonder if these things could apply to what I am questioning? My law professors tell me that everything is arguable. I guess time will tell.
